    At Echo Salon, we enhance and inspire inner beauty. We believe in providing the highest possible level of service to our guests.

    Our guest’s first experience with our salon is usually with the receptionists. This position is VERY important because it sets the tone for each guest’s visit.

    The ideal candidate has strong desires to learn the salon world, be a helping hand to stylists and guests, and serve others. A willingness to learn and grow is a must, because we believe we ALWAYS need to be learning and growing.

    The position will start at $15/hr.

    Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

    → greet guests, take coats, and offer beverages

    → help stylists with minor tasks

    → helping with blowouts and shampoos for stylists (training provided)

    → cleaning and organizing tasks assigned daily

    → keep books, answer phones and texts from guests

    → communicate with guests regarding their needs

    → check guests in and out, handle transactions, assist with retail sales

    → marketing including social media, hands-on, emails, texting and other forms

    The ideal candidate has strong desires to do high-end, on-trend color, cuts, extensions, and all things hair. A willingness to learn and grow is a must, because we believe we ALWAYS need to be learning and growing.

    This position will pay $13/hour minimum or 50% commission. We also pay a 10-15% commission on retail product sold.

    Our ideal candidate has:

    → A valid cosmetology license in the state of Michigan

    → Full-time or part-time availability including evenings and Saturdays

    → A positive, cheerful attitude

    → Ability to multi-task

    → Organizational skills

    → Ability to stand all day

    → Flexibility with all hair types

    → A desire to learn

    → A desire to work as a team and build community

    Experience for this position is highly sought-after, but we will consider applicants without experience.

    We are a blended salon model, where we have both employees and booth rentalers. We strive to create an environment where the stylist is in control of their career and has ample room to grow while remaining a part of a larger team.

    The ideal candidate has a full clientele and does high-end, on-trend color, cuts, extensions, and all things hair. Education is a part of everything we’re about here, so a willingness to learn and grow is a must, because we believe we ALWAYS need to be learning and growing.

    Chair rental fees are paid monthly and can be a 6 or 12 month lease.
